Quando Un Obiettivo Non È Un Obiettivo
Siamo quasi alla fine del secondo mese del 2019.
Stai facendo progressi verso i tuoi obiettivi annuali?
Ce n’è forse qualcuno che ti sembra sfuggire di mano?
Se la tua risposta è sì, uno dei sei motivi seguenti potrebbe essere la causa per cui non hai fatto i progressi che ti saresti aspettato.
- Timing – a volte, se hai problemi irrisolti a breve termine potresti non essere in grado di pensare efficacemente a lungo termine; quindi il timing può essere la chiave. Risolvi prima i problemi a breve termine e dedicati poi in maniera più efficace ai tuoi obiettivi a lungo termine.
- Convinzioni – Henry Ford diceva “Che tu creda di farcela o non farcela avrai comunque ragione.” Sei convinto di poter raggiungere quell’obiettivo o c’è una vocina subdola nella tua mente che ti sussurra che tanto non ce la farai? Se questo è il caso, occorre trovare il modo di far tacere l’imbroglione annidato nella tua mente.
- Obiettivo non tuo – a volte gli obiettivi non sono nostri ma imposti da familiari, amici o colleghi. Questi obiettivi non sono veri per te e mancano della forza derivante dalla tua motivazione. I tuoi obiettivi devono essere i TUOI obiettivi, o è improbabile che tu possa lavorare per raggiungerli.
- Troppo ambizioso – Questi obiettivi non sono SMART e il “fallimento” è assicurato. L’obiettivo deve essere non troppo piccolo, non troppo grande, giusto e soprattutto raggiungibile per te!
- Copia incolla – Non diventerai Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs semplicemente facendo un copia incolla di quello che hanno realizzato loro. Prendere come modello qualcuno che ha già ottenuto ciò che vuoi ottenere è un’ottima scelta. Ma modellare non significa copiare, ma, piuttosto, capire le strategie, le capacità, e, soprattutto, l’attitudine necessaria per ottenere risultati pari e anche superiori.
- Vanità – Se il motivo del tuo obiettivo è pura apparenza, difficilmente avrai la disciplina necessaria per ottenerlo. Più grande l’obiettivo, di maggior valore la motivazione richiesta.
